Hi, I’m Karen Weinstein
I’m the founder of Recykleap, a recycling educator, sustainable packaging consultant, and passionate advocate for circularity that makes sense — for systems and for people.
I’m also an industrial engineer who spent 16 years working at the intersection of food packaging, manufacturing, and product development — from global CPGs to startups. I’ve sat inside the systems, walked the plant floors, and worked on the frontlines of bringing products to life. I know firsthand how much goes into designing packaging — and how frustrating it is when that packaging, built with good intent, ends up in the wrong bin.
Recykleap is more than a business — it’s a leap of faith from corporate into purpose. I started this to bridge the gap between packaging systems and public behavior. I work with brands to design smarter, clearer, more recoverable packaging — and with communities, schools, and individuals to teach what belongs in the bin.
